I used to highlight and tag my books to death. Even now I still tag them a lot, but how can I find where I read this or that when I need it? The more I learned, the more I realized the potential of research, if only I could find it again later. I started tracking research on the computer.
My computerized system of tracking was primitive. It couldn’t grow as my research grew. Then at one of my jobs as an administrative assistant, I found the answer: a research database!
This wasn’t easy for me to create since usually such projects take a team of specialties to develop. That costs big bucks! Since 2016, however, I’ve been happy to have an introduction to my database on-line, and I have a professional friend/programmer who plans to get the first version on-line eventually.
Meanwhile my students are preparing the development documentation, and I’m mostly researching so I’ll have something to upload when the time comes.

I lost all my data 2-3 times due to the learning process and transitioning from one set of support people to students, to the next set of students. But like Jacob who wrestled with the angel until he got his blessing, I believe God will grant me the database on line eventually. I research with my database off line for now. I have a demo to show at Standard Entries (of old data that may now be “lost,” due to complications). But my online version is still being developed with hope for eventual completion!
Were you just looking at my YouTube account, “youtube.com/@tourisrael“? Or at tourisraelbyremote.com? All the videos you can watch there are here at my main account also, under the menu option “Tour Israel.”
You can search any word throughout this website:
Concerning my “Documentary Links”:
I’ve been to Israel twice, once with a Christian archaeologist. What if you could virtually tour Israel with experts and see 54 hours of video footage condensed into a number of clips totaling 3-hours? Check out “Tour Israel by Remote” (click on the trailer, next):
Changes for my website
The local college from which I obtained students since 2016 to help with my website has recently changed their rules for entrepreneurs to obtain their help. It’s more complicated now, and I can’t work with their limitations any more. I’m so grateful, however, for the hope I have now that a programmer-friend eventually plans to put my online research database on my website (more than just the demo of data from 2016). Also, for Femi’s technical help with ongoing maintenance. I’m especially grateful for all the help I already obtained to make this, my hobby website, this good. I’m currently re-reading all my blogs once more for the in-case I may edit the text in a few places bit more, and I still hope to improve some of the pictures someday. I also hope to eventually find more time to make my pictures more user-friendly for the blind (with text to describe each picture). Thanks for your ongoing interest!

My Focus in Blogging
My story of forgiveness and healing is quite unrelated to envisioning the Bible world. But since our world is sin and pain infested, I suspect many will want to hear more about my personal experience. I wrote a couple of blogs about this, but mostly I focused on envisioning the Bible world. I learned lots after being in Israel, and now I can share that with you.
